Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: 1. Respond to user/client escalations and engage functional escalation and Management escalation as required. 2. Manage requests incidents on ITSM tool. 3. Implement the changes as applicable, test the changes and handover to customer. 4. Prompt handling of all /incidents/problems/SRs in order to minimize the impact of incidents upon client end service quality. 5. Required for easy transition into role and join on-call group which is high priority 6 .Consequently identifies opportunities to improve operations. Technical Experience: -Good hands-on experience on Windows server administration -Deep technical knowledge in VMware virtualization version 5x or 6x Troubleshooting skills analytical skills in Windows server -Installing, Managing, Patching and upgrading Windows-based systems and servers -Managing data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability of the system. Educational Qualification:Bachelor s degree Additional Info: Willing to work in 24/7 support rotational shifts
