About the role
As a Growth Analytics professional, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - End-to-End Metric Ownership: - You will take ownership of core business growth metrics including acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue. - Design and maintain live dashboards, set weekly targets, and lead business reviews. - Data-Driven Opportunity Identification: - Brainstorm problem statements and translate business challenges into data problem statements. - Identify high-impact ideas for product or process improvements. - Run & Learn from Experiments: - Plan simple A/B or pilot tests, track relevant metrics, analyze results, and provide recommendations on scaling or rollback. - Insight Storytelling: - Translate complex analyses into clear narratives, reports, and dashboards that guide executive decisions. - Data QA & Automation: - Review reports for accuracy, address data quality issues, and develop or automate ETL pipelines. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support teams to translate insights into prioritized roadmaps and process enhancements. In addition to the role overview, the key qualifications we are looking for include: - 3+ years in Product/Growth Analytics: - Direct experience in managing funnel metrics such as MAU, activation, and retention cohorts. - Analytics capabilities: - Proficient in writing SQL queries across multiple tables. - Advanced understanding of Python and data manipulation packages like Pandas and Numpy. - Strong Statistics & Experimentation: - Comfortable with statistical methods and data patterns including regression checks, simple clustering, and A/B-test analysis. - Dashboard & Visualization Expertise: - Skilled in building and maintaining visual reports and dashboards using tools like Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar. - Collaborative Problem Solver: - Ability to structure problems and collaborate effectively with diverse teams to drive impactful solutions. - Bias for Action & Ownership: - Willingness to take ownership and build data or dashboards independently when needed. - Exceptional Communication: - Capable of clearly explaining data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Continuous Improvement & Innovation: - Proactively seeks feedback and explores new approaches for continuous enhancement.
