About the role
Required Expertise: Strong knowledge and practical experience with Katalon, selenium with any language is compulsory, as it will be a key tool in automation testing framework. Required Qualifications: BE/BTech in computer science or equivalent from a reputed Intsitute. Key Responsibilities: oDesign, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, Rest Assured, Java , Groovy or similar. oIntegrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to support rapid feedback and development cycles. oEvaluate and recommend new test automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. oDefine and implement quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. oConduct thorough testing of software applications, identifying defects and collaborating with development teams for resolution. oPerform code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of automation scripts. oWork closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure testing aligns with quality objectives. oAct as a quality advocate within the organization, promoting continuous improvement and best practices. oProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and other team members. oDocument test plans, test cases, and test scripts for regression and functional testing. oAnalyze test results and generate comprehensive reports to communicate findings to stakeholders. oTrack and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators. oStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. oExperience with agile methodologies and working within agile teams. Mandatory skills Katalon Studio, Selenium with any language, Git, SQL, CI/CD, Rest Assured, Groovy. Desired/ Secondary skills
