Number of Openings 1 ECMS ID in sourcing stage 518240 Assignment Duration 12 Months Total Yrs. of Experience 10 Years Relevant Yrs. of experience 10 Years Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities) Role Summary: The SAP Fiori Consultant will be responsible for supporting the transition of SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA by enabling and optimizing the SAP Fiori experience. This role involves activating and configuring standard Fiori apps, designing and managing Fiori roles, developing UI5 apps and ensuring seamless integration with S/4HANA. The consultant will collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver an enhanced user experience aligned with business requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Fiori App Activation: Identify and activate relevant standard Fiori apps for business processes in S/4HANA. Configure and fine-tune apps to ensure optimal functionality and performance. Work with BASIS and security teams to address app activation prerequisites (e.g., backend/front-end configurations). 2. Fiori Roles & Authorization: Design and maintain Fiori-specific roles aligned with business functions. Map standard roles provided by SAP to users and customize as needed. Ensure compliance with security standards while providing users with the appropriate access. 3. ECC to S/4HANA Conversion Support: Collaborate with functional teams to analyze business processes and map them to Fiori apps. Ensure compatibility and seamless migration of custom developments to Fiori interfaces. Provide input for simplification item analysis related to UX. 4. User Experience Enhancement: Guide the business in adopting Fiori as the new interface for S/4HANA. Customize the Launchpad (tiles, groups, catalogs) based on user needs. Troubleshoot user issues and provide solutions for Fiori-related incidents. 5. Testing & Documentation: Conduct end-to-end testing of Fiori apps during each phase of the conversion. Document configurations, role mappings, and technical guidelines. 6. Training & Support: Conduct workshops or training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders. Provide post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption of Fiori apps. Mandatory skills • Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori, including app activation and customization. • BTP BAS and Knowledge of UI5 extensions/customizations. • Fiori Elements & Fiori Design patterns, expertise in UI Theme designer. • Experience working with the languages (e.g. SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery). • Proficiency in Fiori Launchpad configuration, catalog, and role management. Desired/ Secondary skills • Understanding of S/4HANA simplifications and best practices for Fiori adoption. • Familiarity with SAP authorization concepts and security design for Fiori. • Strong collaboration skills with technical (BASIS, ABAP) and functional teams. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
