Role Overview: As the Senior Director of Application Security at LogixHealth, you will lead the efforts to ensure the organization and its partners maintain the highest level of security. Your role will be crucial in prioritizing security across all products, systems, platforms, and tools within the company's dynamic environment. Working closely with a globally distributed team of engineers, you will play a key role in enhancing security measures and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Comprehensively manage cyber security within the organization. - Enhance security and monitoring platforms across the environment. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Data Development, and Security teams. - Demonstrate operational excellence in identifying and mitigating risks. - Drive efficiency in security operations through the implementation of improved platforms and increased automation and tooling adoption. Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Possess 10+ years of experience in contributing to or leading cyber security initiatives within an organization. - Demonstrate the ability to lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management team. - Establish and manage governance frameworks for data security, privacy, and risk. - Oversee incident response, breach management, and disaster recovery planning with a focus on minimizing the impact on healthcare data and operations. - Hold a BS (or higher, MS/PhD) degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field, or possess equivalent technical experience. - Exhibit deep knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, security information and event management, and endpoint protection. - Display a strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security, with a focus on healthcare-specific security frameworks. - Have experience managing security in cloud and hybrid healthcare data environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Show expertise in risk management, privacy, compliance, and security operations. - Possess the ability to balance stringent compliance requirements with business enablement. - Demonstrate a passion for mentoring and guiding others. - Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with a globally distributed workforce. - Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or CISSP-ISSMP. - Experience in incident response and program management, including developing and testing incident response plans.
