Senior Specialist Data Governance Supply Chain & Operations Location: Hyderabad, India Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences. We are seeking a Senior Specialist Data Governance Supply Chain & Operations to design, govern, and optimize core enterprise structure master data within Lonzas supply chain. This role ensures data consistency, completeness, validity, accuracy, uniqueness, and timeliness across endtoend business processes. Role Purpose / Summary The Senior Specialist Data Governance Supply Chain & Operations serves as the single point of responsibility for Supply Chain & Operations item governance, defining standards, ownership, and lifecycle rules for critical supply chain structures. Operating globally across all business platforms, functions, and sites, the role is a key contributor to the Lonza Data Framework and broader governance model. Acting as an advisor to process and data owners, the role ensures full understanding of crossfunctional dependencies when introducing new enterprise data objects. What youll get A global role within Lonzas Data Governance organization.Opportunity to shape and scale enterprise data frameworks and governance models.Exposure to global stakeholders across Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and business functions.A collaborative, inclusive, and ethical workplace culture.Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with role and experience.Opportunities to contribute to global transformation and data strategy initiatives.What youll do Define, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, concepts, and standards for enterprise structure master data in Supply Chain & Operations.Manage lifecycle processes for critical enterprise data objects, including creation, modification, and deactivation of organizational structures (e.g., Plant, Storage Location, Sales Organization, Distribution Channel).Analyze the impact of enterprise structure data changes across upstream and downstream systems and guide stakeholders toward optimal decisions.Manage impact assessments for new data structure requests and coordinate implementation with IT and data governance teams.Govern enterprise structure data within SAP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity through control checks.Develop and implement analytics and dashboard reporting strategies for monitoring enterprise data quality and structure performance.Act as a trusted advisor to supply chain and operations stakeholders on governance, structure design, and crossfunctional dependencies.Drive stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption of data governance standards and best practices.Develop and maintain training materials and conduct training sessions for business users.Manage tools supporting Data Structure Management and coordinate with internal and external IT service providers.Contribute to the development and evolution of the Lonza Data Framework.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, standardization, and reporting capabilities.What were looking for Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related discipline.Proven experience in Supply Chain and Operations master data or enterprise structure data management.Strong understanding of enterprise structure master data processes and ERP systems, particularly SAP MM, PP, PM, and SD modules.Experience with data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices.Solid understanding of endtoend supply chain and operations processes and crossfunctional integration.Skills & Capabilities Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with high attention to detail.Ability to understand and communicate complex dependencies across systems, processes, and functions.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.Structured, governancefocused mindset with strong ownership and accountability.Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.What we offer An agile career and dynamic working culture.An inclusive and ethical workplace.Compensation programs that recognize high performance.A variety of benefits dependent on role and location.The full list of our global benefits can be found here: Lonza Careers Benefits.
