As a Lead Analyst in the Merch Ops Analytics team at Lowe's, your primary responsibility will be to be the Analytics partner with the Merchandising organization and deliver insights and recommendations to drive a deeper understanding of product categories. Your role will involve working with Merchandising teams to create optimal strategies for product categories, influencing different merchandising strategies across all fulfillment channels. Roles & Responsibilities: - Solve problems and share information to enable alignment across the organization for better decision-making - Enable business partners to make informed decisions based on performance drivers by analyzing and providing insights - Communicate financial and non-financial analysis and insights to leaders in a clear and understandable manner - Demonstrate resourcefulness and resilience in the face of change and adversity - Lead teams to deliver high-quality analysis across complex projects - Project management for the entire scope of work including allocation of work, managing communication with global partners, and tracking progress against milestones - Setting up processes/workflows efficiently utilizing the best tools available - Mentor team members on technology/process/domain skills Years Of Experience: 6+ years' experience in Data Analytics Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or any other Quantitative discipline Skill Set Required: Primary Skills (must have): - Python, Power Bi, Advance SQL, Statistical modeling, clustering techniques - Data wrangling using complex SQLs and data extraction processes across databases - Experience working with big data and performing data transformations using Python, SAS, R, etc. - Proficiency in MS Excel, business intelligence, and reporting tools like Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau - Leading teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions - Working cross-functionally and with global partners - Experience in clustering techniques and statistical modeling Secondary Skills (desired): - 3+ years of experience in Retail category analytics - Ability to build advanced statistical techniques/machine learning-based solutions for business problems related to Merchandising Lowe's is an equal opportunity employer that administers all personnel practices without regard to various categories protected under federal, state, or local law.
