About the role
In this role as a Senior Engineer, QA at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), you will be joining the Corporate Technology team as an Automation Engineer. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring that all central requirements and changes are quality checked via aligned CRMT squads. You will also be responsible for ensuring that correct tooling standards are being followed and automating operational tasks. Additionally, you will be in charge of ensuring meeting SLAs/KPIs and continuously reviewing test suites to keep them updated as the owner. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure quality checks for central requirements and changes via aligned CRMT squads - Follow correct tooling standards and automate operational tasks - Meet SLAs/KPIs - Continuously review and update test suites Qualifications Required: - At least 2+ years of experience in Automation Testing - Experience with web-based application testing - Proficiency in API Testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc. - Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as Agile/Scrum - Good to have experience in Salesforce QA and automation - Experience in manual testing process within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud Implementations - Exposure to open-source User Interface (UI) test tools like Provar, Selenium WebDriver, JavaScript, TypeScript - Proficiency in CI/CD Platform for continuous testing - Experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills (BDD framework, API testing) - Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, TestRail In addition to the technical skills, preferred skills and experience include understanding of Salesforce, SFDC Architecture & concepts, effective communication in English, ability to manage workload efficiently, motivation and pro-activeness, customer and service orientation, commitment to team goals, experience in programming languages like Selenium WebDriver, Python, Java, automation of REST API/Microservices testing, and providing Production support as needed.
