Senior Lead Software Engineer

As a TradeAgent Senior Developer at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), you will play a crucial role in building a complex, ground-up cloud-based critical market infrastructure service in a bold new venture. Your responsibilities will include: - Building, delivering, and maintaining multiple components of the Trade Agent platform to ensure timely delivery of work items. - Resolving high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of sophisticated architectures, business processes, and industry standards. - Serving as an advisor to develop highly resilient and future-proof solutions and contributing to research and suggesting new projects for the Trade Agent platform. - Being willing to take on new responsibilities based on project needs and circumstances. - Contributing and guiding program initiatives in engineering excellence and learning and development. - Ensuring work is well-documented and communicated with stakeholder expectations managed. - Being challenging and questioning while maintaining trust, respect, and promoting a one-team mentality. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in event-driven microservices architecture with knowledge of Domain Driven Design and event-driven architecture. - Strong experience in advanced Java programming, including Java 17 and higher, Spring Boot, and developing enterprise-grade Java applications. - Proficiency in database management, including strong SQL knowledge, experience with relational DBs like Postgres, and knowledge of object storages such as AWS S3. - Experience working on major public clouds like AWS, with a basic understanding of cloud networking. - Familiarity with agile ways of working, including experience in Scrum/Kanban model and collaborating with cross-functional teams in scaled agile setups. Additionally, nice-to-have skills include experience in writing applications using Scala and developing web applications using ReactJS.
