About the role
Role Overview: The role involves improving efficiency between the LSEG business teams and the Cyber Security functions by devising and implementing automation, processes, procedures, and reporting to enhance how the business interacts with Cyber Security. You will be joining the Cyber Engagement team within the Cyber Security team to facilitate communication between Business and Cyber Teams, aligning with the group's strategic requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate, develop, and manage strong partnerships with Cyber Security service teams such as Penetration Testing, Application Security, Security Architecture, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, etc. - Establish partnerships with relevant stakeholders in Business Divisions (D&A, Capital Market, Post Trade) to ensure effective collaboration. - Perform initial triage of requests from business teams to engage with cyber security services, ensuring alignment with onboarding criteria and delivery timelines. - Assist in developing, maintaining, and automating Cyber Engagement tools and services based on Cyber Security service team standards and Business teams feedback. - Conduct early assessments using the Pre-engagement Cyber Assessment process to identify key security control requirements for new projects. - Supervise Pre-Go Live Checks to verify implementation of prescribed security controls in projects. - Provide Business teams with Security Posture Views of their critical assets and insights to prioritize cyber security activities. - Coordinate reports and analysis produced by Cyber teams, ensuring alignment with applicable Cyber Security control frameworks and policies. - Create and maintain automation to enhance efficiency and drive excellence in processes. Qualifications Required: - Understanding of Cyber Security services and strong business-facing skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Experience in devising and implementing processes to support business operations. - Ability to handle critical requests following predefined RACI matrix. - Knowledge of enterprise-scale Security management processes and the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
