Team Lead, Data Analytics

As a Senior Associate in the Data, Analytics & Reporting team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), your role will involve working with database technologies such as Oracle, Snowflake, and Microsoft Azure, as well as data processing languages like SQL, Python, and R. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated analysis tools to empower users to uncover business opportunities and make informed decisions. Additionally, you will work on data integrity validation, data profiling, dashboard building, and visualization using tools like PowerBI and Tableau. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automated and standardized analysis tools for uncovering business opportunities - Validate data integrity and perform data profiling to identify anomalies - Translate complex data and analyses into easily understandable formats - Collaborate with other data quality and reporting teams to build a deep understanding of logics for producing reports - Work with various stakeholders to identify gaps in data and build strong relationships with business partners - Demonstrate deep familiarity with data domain and industry standards to drive a data-driven culture - Handle sophisticated data and extract data from diverse sources to test for quality - Create controls to extract data anomalies and ensure analytical source data accuracy - Work in a multifaceted environment with multiple collaborators - Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and mentorship - Exposure to AI/ML is considered a plus Qualifications/Capabilities: - Bachelor's/College Degree in any field - 8+ years of experience in data quality testing, data mining, and data monitoring - Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization technologies - Additional experience in the Risk & Resilience space is preferred - Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform - Experience with database technologies and data processing languages - Proactive with good interpersonal skills at all levels - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) - Self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic, and able to work with minimal direction - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work efficiently - Willingness to work UK/US hours as required - Hands-on experience in building Data Quality checks and tracing back data issues - Experience in AI/ML - Hybrid working model (3 days working from the office) At LSEG, you will be part of a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
