About the role
Position: Java Automation Tester Experience: 5+ Years Location: Pune / Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Java Automation Tester with strong expertise in Selenium Automation Testing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, along with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver . Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks. Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies. Generate test reports and communicate testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders. Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes. Must-Have Skills: Strong experience in Java Programming . Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver . Experience with TestNG or JUnit . Strong understanding of Automation Frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, POM). Experience with API Testing using Postman or REST Assured . Good-to-Have Skills Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins . Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Knowledge of performance testing tools. Experience working in cloud environments (AWS/Azure). Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
