Role Overview: As a CDP ETL & Database Engineer, your role will involve being proficient in various areas including relational data modeling, ETL and FTP concepts, advanced analytics using SQL functions, and cloud technologies such as AWS and Snowflake. You will be responsible for interpreting requirements, providing recommendations, and implementing solutions within specified deadlines. Your ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team setting will be crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate effectively with your direct manager, participate in project status meetings, and collaborate with the Business Solutions Analyst when necessary. Working in a fast-paced, agile environment, you must be able to prioritize tasks based on client demand and demonstrate solid communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: - Familiarity with ETL tools such as Talend (Preferred), DMExpress, and Informatica - Hands-on experience with database technologies including Snowflake (Required), MYSQL/PostgreSQL, and NOSQL DB methodologies - Knowledge of programming languages like PLSQL, JavaScript, Python, and Scala - Understanding of AWS services such as S3, EMR, EC2, Systems Manager, and Parameter Store - Proficiency in JSON data structures and key-value pairs - Experience with code repositories like GIT, Win CVS, SVN - Familiarity with workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, Kafka, and Automic/Appworx - Ability to work with Jira for workflow management Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge and experience in ETL, database technologies, and programming languages - Proficiency in cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Snowflake - Familiarity with workflow management tools and code repositories - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting - Prior experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment - Understanding of JSON data structures and key-value pairs Additional Details: N/A Role Overview: As a CDP ETL & Database Engineer, your role will involve being proficient in various areas including relational data modeling, ETL and FTP concepts, advanced analytics using SQL functions, and cloud technologies such as AWS and Snowflake.
