About the role
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and govern scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture , Java/Spring Boot-based microservices , cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives. The role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams to define cloud strategy, modernize applications, and drive innovation through cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS. Lead cloud transformation and application modernization initiatives from on-premises environments to AWS. Architect and deploy cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Serverless technologies . Define cloud architecture standards, governance, security controls, and best practices. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation . Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Git. Design secure cloud networking architectures, IAM strategies, and data protection controls. Implement high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions. Establish monitoring, logging, observability, and performance management frameworks. Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Conduct architecture reviews and create architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications. Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and business teams to define cloud roadmaps. Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.

Technical Skills
Strong experience designing and implementing AWS-based enterprise solutions. Expertise in building and deploying Spring Boot microservices in cloud environments. Strong knowledge of API-driven architectures and distributed systems. Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation. Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, and compliance frameworks. Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-native application development.
