Job Summary
Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Scala and SparkSQL to develop and optimize scalable big data processing solutions Job Description Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data processing pipelines using Scala and SparkSQL Design and optimize Spark applications to handle large and complex datasets efficiently Utilize SparkSQL for data transformations aggregations and querying on big data platforms Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to implement robust data solutions Ensure high performance reliability and scalability of Sparkbased applications in production environments Analyze and troubleshoot data processing issues to maintain data quality and accuracy Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Spark and Scala development to enhance system performance Roles and Responsibilities Write clean modular and maintainable Scala code for Spark applications Implement optimized SparkSQL queries focusing on performance and resource utilization Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Monitor tune and optimize Spark jobs to achieve optimal execution times Document technical designs processes and workflows related to Spark and Scala development Mentor junior team members on best practices and coding standards in Spark and Scala Ensure compliance with organizational data security and governance policies
