About the role
Role Power apps developer
The Power Apps Developer is responsible for designing building and supporting secure scalable business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform within a financial services environment This role focuses on automating and digitizing business processes while ensuring adherence to platform performance best practices as well as risk security and governance standards typical of a highly controlled organization Key Responsibilities
Design develop test and maintain Power Apps Canvas and Model Driven aligned to business and regulatory requirements Develop and support Power Automate workflows with appropriate controls exception handling and logging Design and manage Dataverse data models including relationships business rules validations and security roles Integrate solutions with SharePoint Online Microsoft Teams Excel and Outlook Apply role based access control RBAC data loss prevention DLP policies and environment strategies Ensure solutions comply with security privacy audit and risk requirements Participate in requirements gathering solution design and reviews with business stakeholders Document solution designs data models controls and support artifacts for audit and operational readiness Support application lifecycle management ALM using managed solutions deployment pipelines and environment promotions Provide production support troubleshooting and controlled enhancements to existing applications Required Skills Qualifications 35 years of experience delivering business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform Strong hands on experience with Power Apps Power Automate and Dataverse Proficiency in Power Fx and experience designing complex forms validations and logic Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and data sources Solid understanding of security concepts including role based access least privilege and data protection Experience working within regulated enterprise or financial services environments Ability to balance speed of delivery with control stability and compliance requirements Strong analytical skills attention to detail and clear communication with business and technical stakeholders Preferred Nice to Have Skills Experience with Project Management concepts both in waterfall and agile environments Understanding of SDLC Agile or hybrid delivery models Experience supporting apps used by front office operations or riskcompliance teams Power Platform certifications PL 100 PL 200 or PL 400 Working Environment Works in close collaboration with business teams and endusers Supports multiple applications across portfolios or domains Hybrid office environment expected to be onsite at 250 Yonge 2 days a week
