About the role
As the Lead Designer, you will be the primary architect of the design vision and strategy for the company. You will define standards for innovation, visuals, and experience across the product ecosystem. Your role involves building a high-performing design culture, balancing aesthetic excellence with measurable business impact. You will also serve as a key bridge between executive leadership, product, and engineering teams to ensure world-class web and mobile applications. Responsibilities: - Define and evangelize the long-term UI/UX roadmap for Noise, making design a competitive advantage. - Build, lead, and mentor a team of designers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning. - Oversee the creation of scalable design systems and UI patterns for brand consistency. - Maintain Noise's visual identity by ensuring a premium and cohesive user experience. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align design initiatives with business goals and technical feasibility. - Articulate design challenges to non-design stakeholders, influencing product direction with user-centric logic. - Implement and refine design workflows, ensuring high-quality outcomes at scale. - Conduct regular design reviews to maintain a high bar of execution across all projects. Requirements: - 8+ years of UI/UX design experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. - Degree in Design (HCI, Interaction, Visual Communication) from a premier global institution. - Track record of pushing boundaries in visual and user experience design. - Proficiency in industry-standard tools like Figma, Principle, Adobe Suite. - Strong communication and presentation skills to influence at the board level. - Ability to balance design idealism with the needs of a fast-growing business. - Experience integrating user research, data analytics, and feedback into design strategy. - Comprehensive portfolio demonstrating visual design expertise, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities.
