Job Description: Senior Firmware Engineer Domain: Connected Vehicle/ OTA Experience: 3-6 Years Joining Requirement: Immediate / Within 1 Month . Position Overview: This role focuses on integrating a deep connected platform into customer vehicles and hardware. Involves leading deployments, solving complex integration challenges, and acting as a key technical interface between customers and internal teams. Requires strong embedded software expertise, customer interaction skills, and leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end customer deployment and integration of in-vehicle software Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers Design and develop custom integration solutions using C and C++ Gather requirements and create technical proposals and documentation Perform issue triaging and resolve bugs with code-level fixes Validate solutions through hardware testing Collaborating with cross-functional teams for risk and schedule management Provide technical training and support to customers Travel to customer locations for deployment and integration support Required Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Embedded C programming (resource-constrained systems) Experience with Linux/POSIX and/or Android systems 36 years of experience in embedded software development Familiarity with: Git Agile methodologies Unit testing & static analysis Code reviews CI pipelines MISRA C/C++ standards Strong communication and mentoring abilities. Preferred Skills: Programming knowledge in C++ and Python Automotive protocol experience: CAN Ethernet UDS SOME/IP DoIP Experience with: MQTT, HTTPS OTA updates Telemetry systems IoT security Tools & platforms: Bazel PC-Lint JIRA Confluence Google Test Educational Qualification: Bachelors or masters degree in electronic engineering or a related field. Candidates with equivalent practical experience in embedded systems and firmware development may also be considered.
