Project Description: We need a Senior Python Tester to work for a leading investment bank in Trade Surveillance Project Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise to the team. Delivery results based on requirements set by the team lead. Provide oversight for the quality of the application and artifacts related to the application analysis and development. Collaborate with the production support team to implement sound change planning and change management. Be proactive in uncovering risk, manage and drive risks and issues understanding business impact. Strive for Best Practice in design and development. Contribute to the technology strategic agenda by driving application architecture simplicity and by minimizing production incidents through high quality development and processes. Be an active participant in regular task elaboration, prioritization and estimation workshops. Ensure Documentation is up-to-date and relevant. Build effective relationships with key Business Stakeholders. Mandatory Skills Description: 7+ years of hands-on experience in BI development with a strong focus on SSIS and SSAS (Tabular model). Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Detailed experience with SQL Server, Integration Services, Analysis Services (Tabular), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Power BI. Hands-on experience writing efficient SQL queries and working with Tabular models using DAX. Solid system design skills within SQL Server Business Intelligence settings. Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins. Knowledge of MDX (Multidimensional Expressions) and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). Domain Knowledge Knowledge of Banking, Capital Markets, or Treasury products is highly desirable. Ability to handle the complexity and agile nature of the Financial Services environment, with applications requiring adaptability, flexibility, and quick learning in complex setups. .
