Data Engineer - Hadoop

As a Data Engineer in the Risk and Finance solutions team, you will be primarily working on Liquidity and Capital Enhancements as well as Regulatory reporting Programs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting Requirement Analysis of user requirements - Developing solutions for migrating data from treasury systems to a data lake - Documenting the changes made - Participating in periodic change and configuration management calls Key Qualifications: - 2-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer - Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem such as Hive/Pig/MapReduce - Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, RDBMS, and Data warehousing concepts - Experience with PowerBI/Tableau or any other BI tool - Ability to gather and process raw data at scale, including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, and writing SQL queries - Tuning Hadoop solutions to enhance performance and improve end-user experience - Processing unstructured data for analysis purposes Nice to have: - Experience in Finance/Banking domain would be an added advantage This role offers you the opportunity to work on critical projects related to capital risk and balance sheet management systems, where you will play a significant role in solution realization and design for various regulatory and technical optimization requirements.
