About the role
Project description This role is for a Versatile Network & Systems Engineer who can operate across both infrastructure and development domains. This role will be responsible for building automation/tools to support operational efficiency. Responsibilities -Implement and maintain network monitoring and alerting systems -Develop automation tools and scripts using Node.js and/or Python -Work with Zeek monitor -Support cloud-based infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability -Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis -Ingest and process network telemetry (logs, flows, Zeek) -Map data to OpenTelemetry (OTEL) format -Build parsers, transformers, and APIs -Integrate with observability tools (Grafana/OpenSearch) -Support custom dashboards/UI SKILLS Must have -Strong network fundamentals + telemetry (NetFlow, logs, Zeek) -Experience with data pipelines / observability (OTEL or similar) -Experience with switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools -Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python -Experience with Zeek -Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure -Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines -Exposure to DevOps practices Nice to have - Project description This role is for a Versatile Network & Systems Engineer who can operate across both infrastructure and development domains.
