Python Tester

About the Company: We need a Senior Python Tester to work for a leading investment bank in Trade Surveillance Project About the Role: A Senior Python Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the Trade Surveillance Project through effective testing strategies and collaboration with various teams. Responsibilities: Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectivesShould co-ordinate between onshore & offshore teamsPerform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolutionDesign and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use casesUse existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function Qualifications: 5 to 9 years of experience in data driven testing in PythonMandatory experience in Banking /Capital Markets Projects and Trade Life CycleMust have intermediate level of experience in any one of below (mandatory):Equities and Fix Income/Commodities / FX Options Required Skills: Good experience on PyTest and Test AutomationGood experience in SeleniumStrong understanding of web application testing and associated technologies.Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases per requirements and designFamiliarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
