QA Engineer - Data Automation (Python & Playwright)

As a Senior QA Engineer - Data Automation at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for our web-based platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Playwright with Python. - Writing end-to-end test cases for web applications to cover functional and regression testing. - Integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI. - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in agile teams. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs, and working with development teams to resolve issues. You will also perform root cause analysis of test failures and work on improving automation stability. - Continuously improving test coverage and automation efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Having at least 6+ years of experience in software QA, with a minimum of 4+ years in test automation using Python. - Deep experience with Playwright as an automation tool. - Strong Python programming skills, particularly in writing modular, reusable code for test automation. - Hands-on experience integrating tests into pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc. - Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and test management, as well as experience with functional, regression, integration, and UI testing. - Experience using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Xray for defect and test case management. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across Agile teams.
