Lead Business Analyst

Role Overview: The Lead Business Analyst position in the Investment Platform team is ideal for someone with experience in the Front Office across various asset classes. The role involves utilizing technology to transform Front Office operations and gaining exposure to different asset classes and technology capabilities. You will work closely with senior Change Managers to support various activities related to understanding business requirements, designing technical solutions, business analysis, and collaborating with engineering and change management teams. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely delivery of user stories and project deliverables within agreed timelines. - Support the creation of business cases and operating models for projects, aligning with strategic goals. - Assist in defining benefits and managing their realization throughout the project lifecycle. - Produce detailed requirements through interviews, analysis, workshops, prototyping, data analysis, and workflow analysis. - Evaluate information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and relevance. - Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to understand information needs, functional requirements, and feasibility. - Act as a self-starter, working independently to define concepts under the direction of the Project/Programme/Change Manager. - Interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements using strong analytical skills. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills when presenting design/solution options. - Ensure business outcomes are successfully implemented and landed in BAU without impacting existing functionalities. - Collaborate with implementation teams and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs. - Ensure technology builds or business processes meet specifications and participate in test preparation and execution. - Facilitate operational readiness and ensure smooth transitions with business teams. - Validate that the overall solution meets project and program objectives and expectations. - Align test planning with the Test Manager and Project Manager for comprehensive test coverage. - Prepare training documentation and conduct training sessions as needed. Front Office Technology Specific Responsibilities: - Support and enhance portfolio management systems to meet the needs of portfolio managers and analysts. - Integrate and manage market data feeds for accuracy and timeliness in investment decisions. - Develop and maintain tools for real-time risk management to enable effective risk management. - Support and enhance Order Management Systems (OMS) for efficient order execution, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with investment strategies.
