About the role
Plan and monitor daily production as per the production schedule. Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum machine utilization. Monitor production efficiency, productivity, and downtime. Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments. Analyze production losses and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety standards. Reduce rejection, wastage, and rework through process improvements. Maintain production reports, shift reports, and machine performance records. Train machine operators on process improvements and safety practices. Ensure optimum manpower utilization. Participate in new product trials and process validation. Monitor raw material consumption and control production costs. Support preventive maintenance activities for production equipment.
