Software Programmer

Job Description The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of quality software applications that satisfy or exceed business requirements. Provides application development services, complying with the currently prescribed methodologies. The candidate will be a key hands-on contributor in the software product development life-cycle, performing analysis, implementing software architecture and design, development, integration, and testing for major, minor and maintenance releases. Functional Area: Computer Software/Computer Systems Engineering Industry: Information Technology Role: Software Programmer Employment Type: Permanent Keyskills Extensive experience with the Microsoft suite of development tools and languages, specifically: . ,MS SQL 2012, NET Framework (3. 5 and higher), C#, Web Services CSS, JavaScript , Reporting Services, XML/XSLT, HTML5, JQuery , Angular JS, Bootstrap Experience in porting database and redesigning with normalization will be needed. Strong understanding of database design. Working knowledge of the SQL server 2012 .NET-based, distributed, N-tier system design experience across tiers: UI (User Interface tier), for Win32 and Web interfaces BL (Business Logic tier), utilizing both Windows and Web Services DL (Data Layer tier), including data modeling, normalization, and indexing for high performance, query optimization In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure technologies to communicate across the tiers (i.e., .NET Remoting, MSMQ, or WCF) Ability to develop efficient well-documented code Experience with XML related technologies. Ability to write design documents, technical functional specifications and communicate effectively with rest of the organization. Strong attention to detail. Dedication to completing work on time-sensitive projects. Preferred Skills Experience implementing and working with large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Hospital Management/Financial Services industry knowledge would be given an advantage Minimum 3-5 MVC Project experience. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server as back end and designing , developing and implementing complex .NET systems. Minimum of 3.2 years of working experience in a live project. Programming languages and techniques: .NET, C#, XML, XSL, XSL-FO, SOAP ,MVC OOA, OOD, OOP, UML 3-Tier development experience, Remoting Design Patterns, Domain Model Patterns, MVC Database Design and Object Relational Mapping Design and Implementation T-SQL, Reporting Servers, Messaging JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, SQL, SSRS Deliverable of the Position : Timely reporting to the manager. Coding, analysis, designing, and running unit test cases as per the requirement, generating test reports, root cause analysis reports, preparing technical approach documents, proposing timelines(if required), task scheduling, task organizing, task execution. Should familiarize himself/herself with the latest technology and trends quickly. Should be able to do RD on the requested tasks and produce the results within given timelines. Should be able to support the team members to reach the deadlines. Should be able to carry out the integration of modules and perform integration testing with testers and fix the bugs. Should be flexible enough to support the operations on need basis. Project documentation. Adheres to Quality guidelines. Adheres to schedules.
