Tech (Civil) Reports To: General Projects Manager Reportees: Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors Location: Mumbai (Andheri East) CTC: 10.00 LPA 15.00 LPA Job Summary: The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all on-site construction operations for our real estate projects. This role involves supervising daily activities, coordinating all stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities: On-Site Supervision & Management: Oversee all daily construction activities, ensuring work aligns with approved architectural drawings, engineering specifications, and quality standards. Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including task sequencing and resource allocation, and monitor progress against established timelines. Proactively address any potential issues or delays. Resource and Cost Management: Manage on-site resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor, to prevent waste and control costs within the allocated budget. Track material procurement and ensure timely delivery. Quality Control & Safety: Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures through regular inspections. Conduct regular safety audits, provide safety briefings, and ensure all personnel adhere to health and safety regulations and the use of proper protective equipment to maintain a hazard-free environment. Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the design team (architects, engineers), contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and senior management. Facilitate clear communication and resolve any on-site conflicts or issues promptly. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily activity logs, progress reports, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawings. Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and other legal and regulatory requirements, securing necessary permits and licenses before work commences. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management. Experience: 10+ experience in construction or site management within the real estate industry, preferably with experience in managing residential or commercial projects. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD) is highly desirable. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, regulations (e.g., BMC norms in Mumbai), and site logistics is a plus.
