About the role
Role Overview: Join our dynamic Finance Platform Solutions team at Macquarie, where you will excel in delivering system support and change governance. In this role, you will act as an intermediary between Financial Management and Technology teams, playing a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated solutions to meet business objectives. Your expertise in data analytics and modern data tools will be leveraged to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within all analytics processes. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for Power BI dashboards and Alteryx workflows - Write SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems - Responsible for static data maintenance for ARCS, Diligent, and other finance systems - Craft efficient SQL queries for extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from relational databases - Help train users on the supported systems - Lead transformation projects, working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into analytical solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering or a related field - 5+ years of experience in data analytics with significant expertise in Power BI, Alteryx, and SQL - Hands-on experience with DBMS and data lake architectures - Working knowledge of distributed query engines such as Starburst is highly desirable - Familiarity with financial reporting tools like Workiva and Finance Systems like ARCS & Diligent is an added advantage - Proven ability to gather, manage, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a drive for innovation in data solutions - Strong sense of ownership and accountability with a track record of delivering high-quality projects to completion Company Details: Macquarie is a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability.
