Software Developer Level 1

A Software Developer Level 1, or Junior Software Developer, assists an experienced team with coding, testing, and debugging software, learning the codebase, and addressing basic bugs under supervision. Key responsibilities include assisting with design meetings, writing simple code, fixing bugs, contributing to documentation, and supporting senior developers in maintaining software. This entry-level role requires proficiency in one or more programming languages and strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively within the development team. 1) Performs work focusing on software programming, maintenance and operations of systems used by AT&T or its clients to conduct business. 2) Performs development, coding, testing, trouble shooting and support of software applications. 3) Works with designers and senior developers during systems analysis and solution design as required.
