Job Title: MEP Manager / Senior MEP Engineer (Electrical) Location: MIT VGS Campus, Kothrud Pune Industry: Construction / Educational Institution Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: MIT VGS, Kothrud is hiring an experienced MEP Manager / Senior MEP Engineer (Electrical) to handle design and execution of MEP works , with a strong focus on electrical systems for institutional / campus buildings. Key Responsibilities: Lead design review and execution of electrical works for buildings Manage MEP coordination (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) Review electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings Oversee HT/LT systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing & lightning protection Coordinate with consultants, architects, civil teams, and contractors Ensure compliance with NBC, IS codes, fire norms, and local authorities Monitor quality, safety, timelines, and billing certifications Support testing, commissioning, and final handover Key Skills (Naukri Skills Section): Electrical Design & Execution (Buildings) MEP Coordination HT / LT Systems Power Distribution & Lighting Systems Earthing & Lightning Protection Fire Alarm Systems BOQ, Billing & Rate Analysis AutoCAD (Electrical / MEP) Vendor & Contractor Management Testing & Commissioning Institutional / Educational Projects Qualifications: BE Electrical Engineering (Mandatory) Experience: 10+ years experience in design and execution of electrical works for buildings Experience in institutional / campus projects preferred Preferred Candidate: Strong leadership and coordination skills Hands-on experience in both design & site execution Ability to manage multi-building campus projects
