Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur for a Civil Engineer / Architect / Project Manager or Supervisor with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) experience. The role involves planning, designing, and supervising construction, renovation, and maintenance projects across the university and hospital campus, ensuring alignment with healthcare standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, structural and MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors; reviewing drawings, BOQs, and specifications; and monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality. The professional will oversee site execution, conduct regular inspections, manage stormwater, drainage, and utilities, and ensure compliance with statutory and environmental requirements. The role also includes preparing technical reports, maintaining project documentation, and supporting long-term campus infrastructure planning. Qualifications - Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and related disciplines, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other Civil Engineers. - Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. - Demonstrated experience in Planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction or infrastructure projects. - Knowledge and practical experience in Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and campus-level infrastructure services. - Hands-on experience with MEP coordination in building projects, especially in healthcare or large institutional settings. - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; a Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Project Management) is an advantage. - Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, hospital/institutional norms, and environmental regulations. - Proficiency in design, drafting, and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to lead in office teams, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and communicate clearly in written and spoken Company Description Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology (MGUMST), Jaipur, is the first private medical university in Rajasthan, established in 2011 and approved by the UGC.
