Senior Design Engineer - Full Time

Job Title: Sr Design EngineerLocation: Sanand, AhmedabadDepartment: Design & EngineeringQualifications & Skills:Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (preferred).5-8 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in automotive/engineering industry.Hands on experience in sheet metal and machined part design.Exposure to NPD processes and customer interactions.Roles and Responsibilities:1. Design & DevelopmentCreate and validate designs for sheet metal, fabrication, and machined components.Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings with GD&T.Ensure manufacturability and cost optimization in designs.ware ProficiencyWork with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, NX, or equivalent.Use simulation/analysis software for stress, thermal, and motion studies.Manage design data in PLM systems. & InnovationSupport New Product Development projects from concept to production release.Collaborate with quality, production, and procurement teams during proto and pilot builds.Ensure APQP/PPAP documentation readiness.4. Customer & Supplier InteractionWork with customers to understand requirements and provide design solutions.Coordinate with suppliers for feasibility and manufacturability inputs.5.
