As a Cab System Design Engineer, your role involves developing cab system designs to meet performance, reliability, and cost targets while considering sourcing and manufacturability issues. You will be responsible for permanently fixing cab and BIW system design deficiencies that may arise during the product development cycle by taking proactive steps. Additionally, your key responsibilities include: - Creating 3D models, meshing, and preparing manufacturing drawings - Seeking timely guidance from superiors and experts to complete assigned tasks with high quality - Ensuring drawing and design calculations adhere to laid down standards and practices - Providing timely support to other system groups, sourcing, manufacturing engineering, and testing groups through technical clarifications - Understanding and implementing MPDS and MQS in all engineering activities - Seeking help from superiors and experts to resolve technical issues related to cab and BIW design - Exceeding set targets and demonstrating the potential to take on additional responsibilities - Taking initiative to create value for the product and process beyond cab and BIW design - Constantly refining engineering knowledge by reviewing design reports, research publications, and seeking guidance from peers and superiors - Suggesting ideas to improve product and process Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors of Technology in Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - Masters in Technology You should have a minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a related domain. Additionally, preferred industries for this role include those that focus on analytical thinking, consumer focus, designing review mechanisms, financial analysis, trend analysis, people management, and benchmarking.
