Network Assistant

As a skilled Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the campus network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance of enterprise network systems. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain Aruba Mobility Controllers and centralized WLAN infrastructure - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot approximately 3000 Aruba Access Points across the campus - Administer Aruba ClearPass for authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement - Integrate and manage authentication with Active Directory (LDAP, RADIUS, 802.1X) - Implement and maintain secure Wi-Fi networks (Employee, Guest, Management SSIDs) - Troubleshoot wireless issues such as roaming, interference, coverage, and client connectivity - Monitor network performance using Aruba AirWave/Central (or equivalent tools) - Apply firmware upgrades, patches, and configuration backups - Coordinate with IT teams for network security, VLANs, and firewall policies Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with Aruba Controllers, ClearPass, and large-scale Wi-Fi deployments - Good understanding of AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) and NAC - Experience with VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing Preferred Skills: - Experience in a campus or university network environment - Knowledge of RF planning and wireless site survey - Basic understanding of firewall (Palo Alto or similar) integration Please note that interested candidates are encouraged to share their CV at the provided email address with the subject "Application for Network Administrator."
