About the role
As a Senior Front End Engineer at Fulfil, you will play a crucial role in developing the next-generation technologies that revolutionize how merchants fulfill customer orders. Your primary focus will be on the ReactJS & React Native (Mobile Experience) powered user interface used by Fulfil merchants to manage their back-office operations. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers to implement front-end technologies, develop new user-facing features, and ensure delightful user experiences by translating complex technical workflows. Your responsibilities will also include defining how Fulfil builds user interfaces, writing clean and well-tested front-end code, and optimizing components for maximum performance across various devices and browsers. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a small team of engineers to implement front-end technologies - Develop new user-facing features using React.js & React Native (Mobile Experience) - Translate complex technical workflows into delightful user experiences in collaboration with Design and Product teams - Define how Fulfil builds user interfaces and keep up with modern web standards - Write clean, reusable, and well-tested front-end code - Architect efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems - Contribute to open-source projects and build reusable components and front-end libraries - Optimize components for maximum performance across different web-capable devices and browsers Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience as an engineer - Strong understanding of UX and UI design standards - Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model - Thorough understanding of React.js & React Native and experience in popular React.js workflows - Experience with front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM - Ability to bring designs to life with HTML and CSS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility - Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, modern authorization mechanisms, and code versioning tools like GIT - Experience in developing large client-side JavaScript applications and familiarity with JavaScript testing tools and test automation Additional Details: Fulfil is looking for a detail-oriented individual who can bring a perfectionist's touch to pixel-perfection and intuitive functionality while working within pragmatic deadlines.
