About the role
Job Title : Robotics & AI Engineer Experience : 1+ Year Employment Type : Full-Time Work Location : Headquarters (HQ) Work from Office (Kovilpatti) Department : Research & Development (R&D) About the Role We are looking for a passionate and innovative Robotics & AI Engineer with at least one year of hands-on experience in designing, building, and integrating drones and humanoid robots with Artificial Intelligence technologies. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in robotics hardware, embedded systems, AI integration, and autonomous systems development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, assemble, and test drone and humanoid robot prototypes. Integrate AI and Machine Learning models into robotic systems for autonomous decision-making. Develop and optimize robot control systems, navigation, and motion planning. Work with sensors such as LiDAR, IMU, GPS, cameras, ultrasonic, and depth sensors. Develop embedded software for robotics platforms using microcontrollers and embedded computers. Integrate computer vision, object detection, facial recognition, speech processing, and AI-based automation into robotic systems. Collaborate with software, AI, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver complete robotic solutions. Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software issues. Perform system testing, validation, and performance optimization. Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports. Stay updated with emerging robotics, AI, autonomous navigation, and drone technologies. Required Skills Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in robotics development. Experience building drones and/or humanoid robots. Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning integration. Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2). Programming experience in Python and C/C++. Knowledge of embedded systems such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, STM32, or similar platforms. Experience integrating sensors, actuators, motors, servos, and robotic controllers. Understanding of computer vision using OpenCV and AI frameworks. Knowledge of autonomous navigation, SLAM, localization, and path planning is preferred. Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and MQTT. Experience with Git and software version control. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX. Knowledge of drone flight controllers such as Pixhawk, ArduPilot, or PX4. Experience working with humanoid robot platforms is an added advantage. Participation in robotics competitions, research projects, or open-source robotics initiatives is preferred. .
