Job Title Senior Data Analytics / Snowflake & Power BI Consultant Experience 5+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and business-oriented Data Analytics professional with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and BI reporting. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams by understanding business requirements, analyzing complex data needs, and translating them into scalable analytical and reporting solutions. This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise and strong communication skills. The candidate should be comfortable interacting directly with business users, analyzing manufacturing and operational data, designing logical and dimensional data models, and developing analytical solutions using Snowflake and Power BI. Location Pune, Hinjewadi, Phase-3(Hybrid) Scope & Responsibility Snowflake Development & Data Engineering Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake. Build and maintain Snowflake data pipelines, transformations, and analytical datasets. Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data integration processes. Perform data validation, performance tuning, and query optimization within Snowflake. Support data ingestion, transformation, and reporting requirements across multiple business functions. SQL & Data Analysis Analyze complex business and data requests to identify appropriate analytical solutions. Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, validation, reconciliation, and reporting. Work directly with large datasets to investigate business questions and provide actionable insights. Identify data quality issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve inconsistencies. Translate raw business requirements into structured analytical outputs. Data Modeling Design and maintain logical and physical data models. Develop dimensional models including: Fact tables, Dimension tables, Star schema structures Ensure scalable and efficient data architecture aligned with reporting and analytics needs. Collaborate with technical and business teams to define data relationships and business rules. Power BI & Reporting Develop and enhance dashboards and reports using Power BI. Create meaningful visualizations and KPIs for business users. Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting expectations and dashboard requirements. Optimize Power BI datasets and reporting performance. Candidates with strong BI/reporting aptitude and willingness to learn Power BI will also be considered. Business Stakeholder Engagement Partner directly with business users, analysts, and leadership teams to gather and refine requirements. Conduct discussions with requesters to clarify business needs, reporting expectations, and data definitions. Translate business problems into technical and analytical solutions. Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to support decision-making. Participate in requirement workshops, solution discussions, and stakeholder reviews. Manufacturing Domain Collaboration Work with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or production-related datasets and reporting requirements. Understand manufacturing KPIs, operational metrics, and business processes. Support analytics initiatives related to manufacturing performance, production efficiency, and operational reporting. Manufacturing domain exposure is preferred and considered a strong advantage. Personal Attribute and Characteristics Excellent communication skills .
