Job Description SAP ABAP Consultant with SAP TM (Technical) Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant SAP TM (Technical) Experience: 5+ Years Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP TM technical solutions while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient SAP applications. Key Responsibilities Technical Development Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP ABAP solutions for SAP TM. Develop and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows). Create custom reports using Classical and ALV reporting techniques. Develop SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts as per business requirements. Build enhancements using BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and BAPIs. Develop object-oriented ABAP programs following SAP development standards. SAP TM Development Develop custom enhancements and technical solutions within SAP Transportation Management. Customize and enhance Freight Order, Freight Unit, Transportation Planning, Freight Settlement, and Freight Cost Management processes. Support SAP TM integration with SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems. Resolve technical issues and optimize SAP TM applications. Integration & Interfaces Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, REST APIs, SOAP, and OData Services. Support integrations with SAP modules including SD, MM, EWM, LE, and external logistics systems. Work with SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI for middleware integrations. Performance Optimization Analyze and optimize ABAP programs for performance using SQL Trace (ST05), Runtime Analysis (SAT), and Code Inspector. Develop efficient database queries and optimize application performance. Support & Collaboration Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions. Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Provide production support, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform root cause analysis. Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to development best practices. Required Skills Mandatory Skills 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Hands-on technical experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM). Strong expertise in: ABAP Programming Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) RICEF Development ALV Reports SmartForms / Adobe Forms / SAP Scripts Data Dictionary BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs SQL and Performance Tuning Experience in debugging and resolving complex technical issues. Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
