Performance Testing Lead

As a Performance Testing Lead at the company, you will be responsible for leading and executing performance testing for legacy applications migrating to AWS Cloud. Your role will involve defining, documenting, and implementing Performance Testing & Engineering Strategy for cloud migration. You will also perform performance gap analysis, identify migration risks, and design, execute, and analyze various types of tests including load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests. Key Responsibilities: - Define, document, and implement Performance Testing & Engineering Strategy for cloud migration. - Perform performance gap analysis and identify migration risks. - Design, execute, and analyze load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests. - Develop and maintain performance scripts; correlate results with AWS/APM metrics. - Ensure performance testing aligns with release milestones to avoid delays. - Mentor and guide team members on performance best practices. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, Neoload, Gatling. - Strong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway. - Proficiency in Java/scripting, CI/CD integration, Agile/Scrum at scale. - Proven experience personally executing large-scale performance tests. - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. In addition to the mandatory skills, preferred skills for this role include experience in the Financial Services/Investment Management domain, AWS certifications (Solutions Architect/DevOps), Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS experience, and expertise in cost optimization and performance tuning.
