About the role
As a Quality Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in manual and automation testing, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Test Case Design & Execution: - Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and checklists. - Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all modules. - Defect Reporting & Tracking: - Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools. - Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting. - SQL & MongoDB-Based Data Validation: - Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processing accuracy. - Use MongoDB queries to verify NoSQL data consistency in dynamic modules. - API Testing: - Perform manual API testing using Postman to validate data flow accuracy and backend functionality. - Performance Testing: - Design and execute performance tests using Apache JMeter to assess system reliability, load handling, and response times. - Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with the development team for optimization. - Python Scripting (Basic): - Leverage Python for simple scripting tasks, such as data validation where required. Preferred Skills: - Automation Testing: 1-2 years of exposure to test automation using tools like Selenium, Pytest, TestNG, or basic scripting in Python/Java. - Ability to collaborate with automation teams or build basic automation scripts when needed. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of SQL and MongoDB. - Experience with JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools. - Proficiency in Postman and JMeter. - Basic Python scripting skills.
