As a Lead Engineer in Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) at Marmon Technologies India Private Limited, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing VA/VE initiatives across multiple product lines. Your role will involve optimizing product design, driving cost reduction, and enhancing overall performance while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will identify value-improvement opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the implementation of cost-optimized solutions aligned with organizational objectives. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Drive execution of development and implementation of VA/VE strategies and roadmaps - Analyze product designs, manufacturing processes, and supply chains to identify value optimization opportunities - Utilize SolidWorks & CREO for complex assemblies, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design optimization - Demonstrate a deep understanding of GD&T per ANSI Y14.5, tolerance analysis, and mechanical stress evaluation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive VA/VE projects from concept to implementation - Analyze product cost structures, propose design or process changes for value enhancement, and prepare detailed reports summarizing project results - Develop prototypes for VA/VE initiatives, ensure thorough validation and testing of changes, and drive continuous improvement through the use of advanced tools and methodologies Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field - 6+ years of experience in VA/VE activities, cost optimization, or related engineering roles - Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks & CREO, GD&T, and mechanical stress evaluation - Strong communication & interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities - Expertise in CAD tools, DFMEA, PFMEA, and VA/VE tools - Exposure to materials science, mechatronics, or related multidisciplinary engineering domains - Experience with industry standards, compliance requirements, and process improvement methodologies - Certification in VAVE from SAVE (Society of American Value Engineers) is an added advantage In conclusion, as a Lead Engineer in VA/VE at Marmon Technologies India Private Limited, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, develop deep expertise, strengthen leadership capabilities, and progress into more senior roles based on performance and demonstrated leadership potential.
