Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)

Job Description: Designation: Graduate Engineer Trainee Reporting to: Sr Lead Engineer / Project Lead Location: Bangalore, Full Times Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering/Thermal Engineering Position Overview: Marmon GIC is looking for motivated fresh Mechanical Engineers. In this role, you will be given exposure to work with various department like Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Testing, etc. Key Responsibilities / Functions: • Willing to learn new skills • Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering subjects • On-time project delivery while upholding utmost technical and quality standards • Technical deliverables including design data, calculations, drawings, test reports etc. • Need to co-ordinate and execute tasks in global environment Personal Characteristics and Attributes • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills • Strong desire in learning new technologies and methodologies • Good business communication (written/verbal) • Curious nature & Self-starter who can work under minimal guidance/ supervision • Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities • Ability & willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally when required Required Qualifications: (Technical Skills/Knowledge) • Strong understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Drawing, Mechanics/Strength of Material, Manufacturing Process, Machine Design, etc.) • Projects involving Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element analysis will be an added advantage • Exposure to CAE tools like Ansys [Mechanical and Fluent] will be valued • Exposure to CAD software like Solidworks, Inventor, NX, Creo will be an advantage • Exposure to manufacturing environment is an advantage • Ability to execute & deliver given tasks within agreed time and with quality • Good English communication skill, both written & verbal • Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel, Word & PowerPoint
