Engineer - Database Administration

Daily operations responsibilities include handling and serving as the team member on the following items/activities: Monitoring system alerts and errors and resolve issues Performing daily database checks Controlling and monitoring user access/Grants to the database Managing password change and troubleshooting Issues Code extract from database Support Users in Deployment in Dev/QA/Prod Knowledge of Backup and restores Monitoring database usage. Troubleshooting database and Alerts. Participation in Patching What you need to have: A minimum of 1-year hands-on experience with any Oracle database technology. Ability to work independently and as a team on multiple tasks and commitment to deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and senior stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and will to be able to drill down into the issues. Results-focused, analytical approach with a strong customer / client service ethos.
