About the role
You will be joining the Wealth Actuarial team at a Marsh business, with the role based in Gurgaon/Noida and Mumbai. This hybrid role requires you to work at least three days a week in the office. Role Overview: As a Specialist in Actuarial - UK Pensions, you will collaborate with analysts and on-shore consulting teams to ensure an exceptional client experience through thorough quality checks and effective communication channels. You will be responsible for encouraging analysts to work independently, building trust among team members at all levels. Key Responsibilities: - Check all work meticulously to minimize rework and maintain quality standards - Monitor progress of tasks to ensure timely delivery - Efficiently manage projects and MetriX - Provide regular feedback and mentor analysts for independent work - Actively participate in knowledge sharing, training, process improvement initiatives, and testing of new tools/processes Qualifications Required: - Graduation with Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science or any subject with substantial mathematical content - 2-5 years of actuarial experience - Knowledge of pension or PRM and actuarial fundamentals - Familiarity with actuarial valuation tools - Proficiency in Excel and Word - Strong communication and coaching skills - Ability to handle multiple projects, ensuring quality, timely, and consistent results What makes you stand out: - Adaptable communicator, facilitator, influencer, and problem solver - High attention to detail - Good relationship skills - Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team - Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively About the Company: Mercer, a business of Marsh, is a global leader in risk, reinsurance, capital, people, investments, and management consulting, serving clients in 130 countries.
