Job Title: Design Engineer – CATIA/NX (Plastics – 2 Wheeler) Experience: 3–6 Years Location: Delhi Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with hands-on experience in CATIA or NX, specializing in plastic component design for 2-wheeler projects. The candidate must have mandatory experience in the automotive domain and will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating plastic parts. Key Responsibilities Design and develop plastic components for 2-wheeler vehicles using CATIA or NX. Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings as per project requirements. Apply plastic design concepts such as ribs, bosses, snaps, and mounting features. Ensure design feasibility considering injection molding processes. Perform tolerance stack-up and apply GD&T principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CAE, manufacturing, tooling). Support prototype development and validation activities. Implement design changes and maintain proper documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3–6 years of experience in plastic design within the automotive domain (Mandatory). Hands-on experience in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX. Strong knowledge of plastic design guidelines and injection molding. Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Experience in 2-wheeler. Exposure to PLM tools.
