Haskell Developer

Haskell Developer Experience: 3-5 Years Responsibilities basis JD: Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to gather, analyze, and validate functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and product architecture. Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems and services using Haskell , ensuring high performance, reliability, and code quality. Contribute to system design and architecture discussions, leveraging functional programming principles to build robust, maintainable, and efficient applications. Develop concurrent, fault-tolerant, and high-performance applications, applying strong problem-solving skills and best practices in software engineering. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with frontend applications built using React and React Native where required. Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and service integrations, ensuring seamless communication between distributed systems and external/internal platforms. Design and manage database interactions with PostgreSQL , including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity management. Participate in cloud-based deployment, monitoring, and support activities on AWS , contributing to scalable and secure application environments. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and actively participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives. Research and evaluate emerging tools, libraries, and methodologies in functional programming, backend engineering, and system integration to improve product quality and development efficiency. Support end-to-end software delivery by collaborating in Agile ceremonies, tracking risks, resolving blockers, and ensuring timely completion of development milestones. Contribute to performance tuning, observability, and operational excellence, with focus on system stability, developer productivity, and overall user experience. Educational Qualification Required - BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, or related technical discipline Certifications in Functional Programming / Cloud / AWS / Backend Systems - Good to have Must have scored at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in 10th & 12th / Diploma (if applicable) and Bachelors, and Masters (if applicable) - No rounding off marks is allowed Only FULL Time and Regular education is eligible ( 10th/12th/Diploma/Bachelors/Masters ) Average Tenure ( i.e. total years of experience divided by Number of companies worked for ) - Should be 2 or more Must Have Skills - Strong experience in Haskell development Good knowledge of Rust Strong understanding of functional programming concepts , immutable data structures, and type-safe design Experience in building backend services, APIs, and distributed systems Proficiency in problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization Knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design/query optimization Familiarity with software design principles, testing frameworks, and code review practices Good understanding of version control systems such as Git Excellent Communication Skills Strong Stakeholder Collaboration and cross-functional teamwork Ability to work in Agile / Scrum environments Data-Driven Decision-Making and continuous improvement mindset Good to Have Skills - Integration experience with React and React Native Exposure to AWS services and cloud-native deployment practices Experience with microservices architecture and containerized deployments Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines , observability, and monitoring tools Domain experience in Auto / Mobility / Logistics / Driver-focused platforms - Good to have
