Junior Design Engineer

Job Description: You will be joining MAS Industries Pvt. Ltd. as a Junior Design Engineer in the Design & Engineering team. Your primary responsibility will involve creating accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for elevator components and systems. You will also be using ANSYS or similar tools to simulate, analyze, and refine designs based on structural and operational conditions. Coordination with vendors, internal teams, and ensuring design feasibility will be crucial aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Create accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks as per project requirements. - Utilize ANSYS or similar tools for simulation, analysis, and refinement of designs. - Prepare customized elevator layouts and component designs aligned with manufacturing and installation needs. - Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback or revised specifications. - Coordinate with internal departments for design feasibility and compliance. - Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding design specifications, materials, and production capabilities. - Maintain version control and systematic record of design documentation. - Participate in design review meetings and contribute to design optimization and product improvement. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and strong working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D, including sheet metal & part modeling. - Basic understanding of ANSYS or FEA software is preferred. - Knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication processes, and technical drawing standards. - Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or as part of a team. - Good problem-solving and time management abilities.
