Senior Shopify D2C eCommerce Website Developer Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract Experience: 48+ Years We are looking for an experienced Shopify D2C eCommerce Website Developer who understands that an online store is more than just a websiteit is a sales engine. You will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-converting Shopify stores for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands across multiple industries. The ideal candidate combines strong development skills with deep knowledge of eCommerce UX, conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, performance optimization, and customer journey design. This role requires someone who thinks like an eCommerce growth specialistnot just a developer. Key Responsibilities Shopify Development Build Shopify websites from scratch. Develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid. Customize premium Shopify themes. Develop reusable Shopify sections and templates. Build responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces. Optimize website architecture for scalability. Configure Shopify Markets for international selling. Implement multilingual and multi-currency stores. D2C Conversion Optimization (CRO) Develop websites that maximize: Revenue Conversion Rate Average Order Value (AOV) Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) Implement: Upsell & Cross-sell Frequently Bought Together Bundles Sticky Add-to-Cart Smart Cart Drawer One-page Checkout Optimisation Buy Now functionality Cart Recovery Exit Intent Popups Trust Badges Urgency Elements Social Proof Review Integration Wishlist Recently Viewed Products UI / UX Design experiences following up-to-date D2C standards.
