About the Role The successful candidate will take ownership of hardware development activities from concept through production while ensuring reliability, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and product quality. The role covers analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, PCB design, board bring-up, hardware debugging, and end-to-end product development for industrial, IoT, embedded, and healthcare-related products. Roles and Responsibilities Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits sensor interfaces, signal conditioning, and microcontroller-based hardware. Design and review power electronics: AC-DC/DC-DC converters, LDOs, battery charging, protection, and switching circuits. Create schematics, perform PCB layout and routing, run simulations, prepare test plans, BOMs, and technical documentation. Take ownership of PCB layout quality, including signal and power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC, thermal performance, and manufacturability. Lead board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis using standard bench equipment. Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, QA, and manufacturing teams, plus EMS/PCB vendors. Support certification and compliance processes, and mentor junior engineers. Required Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 7 years of experience in electronic hardware design and product development Required Technical Skills 7+ years of experience in electronic hardware design, embedded hardware development, or industrial product development. Strong hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit design. Practical experience in power electronics design, including AC-DC/DC-DC converters, protection circuits, and EMI/EMC-aware layout. Experience with 16-bit/32-bit microcontrollers, schematic design, PCB design review, and board bring-up. Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers, and related bench equipment. Strong documentation skills, including design notes, test reports, BOMs, and release records. Desired Skills Experience with industrial communication protocols and wireless technologies (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa). Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, Eagle) and simulation tools (LTspice/PSpice). Exposure to IoT hardware, safety-critical or hazardous-area product design, and EMS-partner collaboration. Experience working in a global engineering environment; healthcare or regulatory-driven product exposure is a plus. Good communication, mentoring, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
