Description Position Title : Senior Software Engineer Department : HRMS Division : IT Location : Bangalore, India Immediate Supervisor : Manager Direct Reports : NA PURPOSE/GENERAL SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically in Fast Formulas, Payroll, and Absence modules. The role involves developing and maintaining HCM Extracts, Reports, and Fast Formulas, ensuring seamless integration and performance across modules. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, develop, and maintain HCM Extracts, BI Publisher Reports, and Fast Formulas in Oracle HCM Cloud. • Collaborate with functional SMEs to analyze the impact of Oracle quarterly updates and patches; retrofit impacted reports and interfaces accordingly. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and integrations across Core HR, Payroll, and Absence modules. • Debug and resolve batch failures and interface issues by analyzing report templates and underlying data. • Ensure high-quality deliverables through thorough testing, validation, and documentation. Business Strategy Change Management Relationship Management • Work closely with the respective teams. Collaborate and build strong relationship with functional teams to ensure required support for coaching, streamlining and enhancement of processes. • Work with cross regional partners • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence team members. Qualifications Education & Skill • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field. • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Work Expérience : • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, particularly in: • HCM Extracts • Fast Formulas (Payroll and Absence) • OTBI and BI Publisher • Strong understanding of Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management modules. • Proficient in SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis. • Familiarity with software development methodologies; experience with Agile is a plus.
